Six-panel comic featuring two flies. One fly asks, “Are you planning to work today?” The fly lying on the ground replies, “I’m letting my Default Mode Network do its thing. Sometimes you have to do nothing to get the best ideas. I’m waiting for a Eureka moment.” In the next three panels, the fly remains lying motionless on the ground. Finally, the other fly returns and asks, “You’re just lazy, right?” The fly on the ground replies, “Eureka.”

Today's comic feels pretty fitting, because it reflects what the next few weeks are going to look like for me.

Over the past few months, I've poured an incredible amount of time and energy into my new book, Headspace. The proof copy has arrived, and I'm genuinely thrilled with the print quality. Honestly, I'm really proud of how it turned out.

Now it's time to give myself a little more headspace. So for the next few weeks, I'll be slowing down a bit and will probably only post one or two drawings a week. I just want to take a breather, clear my head, and give new ideas some room to grow.

After that, things will be back to normal, with lots to look forward to: the release of Headspace, the 2027 calendars, new postcards that will be included with orders, the exhibition in Aachen at the beginning of October, and of course plenty of new drawings.
