Space Cop Diary 1
Hey everyone, this is the start of a webcomic I’m drawing with pencil in my sketchbook. I’m excited to see how it turns out and I’m looking forward to your feedback. The pages are simply scanned and the text is added, with no further digital editing, just like all Kplx drawings and sketches. The result is sometimes rough and sketchy. Lines stay imperfect. Smudges remain visible. But maybe that raw look is a welcome contrast to the growing flood of ultra-smooth AI-generated images. I want to keep the process direct and honest — just pencil, paper, and ideas. More episodes are coming. I’m looking forward to hearing your first impressions and thoughts on the new comic. The first three episodes will be released all at once so you can get a proper sense of what this is about. Have fun.
About the story:
Space Cop Diary is the personal journal of Arthur Huxley, a space cop transferred to what is officially known as the most boring planet in the universe. With more time than he ever wanted, he starts writing and sketching again, documenting what happens on the planet and the remarkable lack of it.
Is a planet officially declared the most boring in the universe truly boring at all?
